Counselling takes place when a counsellor sees you in a private and confidential setting to explore a difficulty or distress you are experiencing, or perhaps your dissatisfaction with life. Counselling provides an opportunity for you to talk things over with an objective person, who can help you to be more capable of solving the problem.
G.C.L.S. uses counselling methodologies which are integrative, and include person-centred and cognitive approaches.
Examples of areas for which G.C.L.S. offers counselling include anger, depression, dysfunctional relationships, bereavement, lack of confidence and self-esteem, career, heterosexual marital issues, eating disorders, and post traumatic stress.
